Shopping today:
My son: "Can we get some candy?"
Mom: "Son, that's the LAST thing we need to do right now."
My son: completely silent....
30 minutes later, as we were leaving...
My son: "Mom, can we go get our candy now?
Mom: "Honey, I told you we weren't getting any candy."
My son: "No you didn't. You said it would be the last thing we would do."

That is too funny! One time we were in the car and I got upset with someone in front of me not moving on the green light. I yelled, "IT'S GREEN PEOPLE!" DS said, "Where are the green people? I don't see them." DD and I just rolled.
So cute! (Did you get the candy?)
Dancer...that story made me laugh outloud! Kids say the darndest things sometimes. Thanks for sharing that one. VERY cute. I have always said to write those kinds of things down because one day they will be long forgotten...
Ash....you know, my mom asked the same question! And no, we didn't get the candy. My mom said I was TERRIBLE for not getting it for him!haha
Hey! I have to say, in those picture of you at the aquarium on the other blog, you look FANTASTIC!!! Your arms look tiny!! Great job! By the way, I have been on WW for 7 weeks (tomorrow is weigh in and starts week 8) and I have lost 9 pounds! I am most definitely trying to get to the 10 pound mark by tomorrow, so tonight I am frantically scrubbing the kitchen floors and bathroom trying to burn those calories :) haha!
lol! that's a great one! smart kid!
Katie- You are very sweet with your comments!
Congrats on your 9 lbs!! That's AWESOME! If you lived closer I would say you could come and scrub our kitchen floors and bathrooms!! HAHA! That would be a contribution to Katie's weight loss, right?!?! haha Keep me posted on how the weigh in goes today. Good luck!!!
Too cute!!!! I wanted to tell you that I don't remeber where I got the "Just Sayin's All" blog link at but that girl cracks me up. She's almost inspired me to start a secret blog of my own but I'm afraid ti'd make me concentrate too much on the negative stuff in people!
PS WAY TO GO at being 20 pounds down. Thats phenominal!
Oh, that story made me smile. I love kids...they're fabulous. And oh-so-smart
